Anne Frank may have been young but she is a big inspiration to everyone. She was brave even though her circumstances weren't the best. Even though she is dead everyone still knows who she is. She is probably one of the most famous children the world has ever known. She would be so happy if she knew that her diary was published and one of the most sold books internationally. One of her biggest dreams was to be a writer and now she is. Anne Frank was a very enjoyable person, she made people laugh even though they could have been discovered by the Germans at any moment. It's very sad that she had to die so young. I think she could have become a very successful writer. I still think that she would be very happy if she knew that everyone knows her story. "She was the light at a dark time." Anne Frank may be dead but her story is still with all of us. Her story will always be remembered.
After I read Anne Frank's diary I feel very terrible about Anne Frank and the experience she had to go through. Even though at some parts it could get a little dull, I am very pleased that I read the book. I feel that everyone should read her diary because everyone needs to know what happened and the pain that the Jews had to go through during the holocaust. When I read this I thought that everyone should read it so they would feel that they should do everything they can to make sure that anything like the holocaust never happens again.
In Anne's diary you see her grow up, you see her struggling, and you see her maturing. I feel like everyone had to do that at some point in time during their life. Like for me, I went from being at the top of the elementary school, to being the bottom of middle school with six teachers telling me what to do. It was a pretty big change for me. This situation made me struggle, and when I got over all the struggling I matured and grew up a little. Now six teachers telling me what to do is normal for me. Anne Frank just had it tremendously harder. She had to hide from the Nazis for a little over two years. Imagine how much you would mature for being stuck in one place for almost three years knowing that people were trying to find you and basically send you to your death. I think intolerance is definitely still happening today. People still are very discriminate over beliefs, race, sexuality, and just the way they look. Most people just look at someone and automatically make up a story for them even though you've never even seen them before. There are many lessons to be learned from Anne Frank's diary. Anne Frank's diary basically shows what people have to go through when they're being discriminated. When you read her diary you'll definitely think twice the next time you see someone wearing something different than other people, or someone who believes in something you don't believe in, or someone loving someone different than other people, or even someone who just doesn't look like everyone else. |
